Covers

Bible covers, journal covers, breviary covers, Roman Missal covers, Magnificat covers, the Ascension Catechism cover, and Word on Fire Liturgy of the Hours covers. Every cover is handmade in our Minnesota workshop.

Each product page lists the sizes the cover is made to fit. For Bibles, our standard covers are sized for Ascension Press and Ignatius Press Bibles, including the Great Adventure Bible and the Ignatius Press Catholic Study Bible. 

If your book is a different size, choose a custom-sized cover and input dimension. Note: take the dimensions yourself, dimensions found online are almost always incorrect. 

Each style, like Moose, Grizzly Bear, or St. Peter, is its own leather with its own color and finish. You can filter this collection by style to see every cover available in the leather you like.

Most of our leathers are full-grain, oil-tanned cowhide produced in Minnesota. We carry one leather made from water buffalo in India, and each cover uses black goatskin  leather from Mexico for the inside flap. 

Oil-tanned leather is naturally resistant and largely maintains itself, so it doesn't need conditioning. Over time the pores seal up, and the leather becomes shinier and more resistant to scratches.
