No. Since our company involves a moose, and since we are very avid North American outdoorsmen and women, we liked the idea of integrating North American animal names into our product line. Grandpa Roger (whose tools were inherited and are still used to make these products) was a National Wildlife Refuge Manager. As kids we were taught the beauty and importance of appreciating nature in all its wildness.

Every Orémoose cover comes branded with a cross on the front unless otherwise indicated (our Maternity of Mary rosary pouches, for example, which come standard branded with an image of “pregnant Mary”). It is free to request the cover to be left blank, or to keep the cross as standard, but it is extra to request custom images. 

We use oil tanned leather. Oil tanned leather is the most natural, durable and (in my opinion) beautiful type of leather. It’s very real and similar to what the leather actually is: skin. The oils keep it protected, but try to prevent it from getting too wet or soaking in water for a long time. If so, just wipe it off with a towel and let it air dry. You can add oil to the leather if you want, but since it’s already oily, it is easy to oversaturate it. In short: there’s not much to do, our leathers pretty much take care of themselves.

As long as neither is “large print”, in Latin, or some other language, they are almost always the same size. There are a few exceptions to this, but we’ve provided the dimensions of the book they cover, you can cross check those measurements with your book just to make sure.

We offer custom sized bible covers for no extra charge. Any bible that you have we can make a custom sized cover to fit your bible. We simply need the specific dimensions (height, width, and thickness) and we’ll make a cover that fits. A word for the wise; don’t trust dimensions found online! Take the measurements yourself with a ruler or measuring tape.

The more complex the image, the more time it takes. We are able to get most orders out within 2 days. Exceptions are during the holiday seasons.

Because everything is hand-drawn, we are unable to create previews of the custom drawings.

It can take up to 10 days to cut out, create, custom brand and ship out a product. Since the items are totally hand-made (that’s not an exaggeration, literally no machines except our JBL speaker to listen to music) items, please be patient, especially during holiday or busy seasons.

If your product is not customized, or custom sized, and has not been damaged, you can return the product and get a full refund or exchange it for a different product of the same price. Returns must be made within 30 days of the original purchase date.
